I went into ULTA yesterday, to try on Juice Beauty’s new PHYTO-PIGMENTS Flawless Serum Foundation!
I took a ton of pictures for you guys, so you can see close up makeup swatches of this new formula. This isn’t a full makeup review as I’ll need to test it for a few weeks; however, this is definitely a first impressions write up.
Prepped skin, with no foundation:
I went into ULTA, and their MUA tested out the Juice Beauty foundation, on just one side of my face.
They determined my shade in the phyto pigments flawless serum foundation to be in the color, Cream. It’s a light shade, with a neutral/yellow undertone to counteract my pink skintone.
*Beauty Tip: If you are cool toned (and buy cool-toned makeup) and feel like your face is still always a bit rosy, buy a NEUTRAL foundation shade instead. This tip changed the way I look at makeup 🙂 Cool toned makeup has pink minerals in it.
Cream Serum Foundation:
Now that you’ve seen some close up picture swatches of the Juice Beauty foundation on my hand, here are some pictures of the foundation, on my face!
For reference, here is a picture of all of the color options that Juice Beauty offers in their Phyto-Pigments foundation line:
The right side of my face has the new Juice Beauty foundation in Cream.
The left side of my face just has the mineral powder I wore into ULTA. It’s from The All Natural Face, in the shade Porcelain Kissed By Honey. FYI- It’s $7 dollars. You cannot beat it- one of my favorite green beauty products!!
Now, onto some cell phone pictures! This picture was taken outside in the sun, about 30 minutes after the makeup artist applied it onto my right cheek. Mid-afternoon is notorious for harsh lighting, so this is as creepy as it will look:
This picture was indoors, standing next to a window, about 2 hours later. You can really see the two different tones:
Final “first impressions” and unboxing thoughts on the new Juice Beauty foundation line??
*The consistency is amazing! It feels like a conventional foundation.
*The color is very natural. [Cream may be a bit dark for me in the winter, however, it’s not bad]
*It washes off easily.
*You can buy this in a STORE! #swoon
*Formulated without parabens, petroleum, sulfates, silicones, pesticides, phthalates, artificial dyes, or synthetic fragrances.
-It highlights pores
-Not as natural looking as powder
Phyto-Pigments Foundation base/main ingredients:
~Organic aloe juice
~Organic safflower oil
Have any of you purchased this all natural foundation yet?! What are your thoughts on Juice Beauty?
Hope you’ll stay a while.
